ok can everyone please post what you know about the drug

most fatalities from the drug come from either lack of or too much water. if too much is consumed your brain swells and starts going down the back of your skull
some piils are no more then household chemicals like sink cleaner, bleach, detergent etc.
not too up on my drugs.

The drug basicly makes your brain release exorbitant amount of the neurotransmitter serotonin, which is what gives you the high,and is also what maintains your mood when your not on the drug, but when ecstasy misused or abused it severely depletes the brain of serotonin and often results in severe long term depression, and This is only one of the NON-fatal "bad things" that can come from using the drug.

thanks guys. i hope more people comment because i thought it would be a very interesting topic. I decided to put it in the Electronica Forum because where i come from... the only people who listen to the genre are E-Heads. They love raves and loveee to party, but i'm one of the ones who enjoy the music for the beats etc... it is just enjoyable.

There have only been 60 casualties from ecstacy in the last decade, not to say that isnt a worrying figure, but most people would have you believe that its much much higher than that.

Everything that SATCHMO said is true.

I would describe it as a much clearer high than you would get from marijuana, cocaine or alchohol, etc, because rather than introducing an intoxicant into your system, your overdosing on your own natural chemicals. Alot of ecstacy has speed in it also, which gives you more of a body buzz.

As far as dying goes, it is a fairly safe drug. There arent many bad pills floating around just make sure you buy it from a reputable dealer at a standard price(10$ each), cheap E is bad news. Theres also the slight chance of being allergic to the drug itself.

Most of the people who are into the electronica genre around here dont do drugs, its mostly the rocker rebel type. I have done it before, and if you think you might be interested in doing it, think again its a seriously bad decision that you wont be able to take back.
