Thoughts on the band/favorite songs?

Personally, I think they're severely underrated, or at least in America (I know they're pretty big in Australia). They deserve a bigger fanbase than what they have; some of the bands that are getting a lot of attention these days don't deserve it half as much as Amity.

Current favorite song of theirs is Pabst Blue Ribbon on Ice or H.M.A.S. Lookback.

Hey guys. Just another newbie here. I came to expand my musical knowledge. Current favorite bands/artists are Alesana, Ludovico Einaudi, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, The Amity Affliction, Mae, Marianas Trench, Zoe Keating, and Soap&Skin. Not sure if this is quite up to your par, but don't be too mean yet; I came here to learn more.

Um. About me personally, my name is Livvi, I will soon be 16, I'm obsessed with the show House M.D., I'm into horror movies and I like to read when I get the time. I'm really awkward to talk to so I apologize for that in advance. I take college classes part-time in conjunction with my high school classes. I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian but I won't shove it down your throat unless you seem to be making a conscious effort to make me eat meat or make me feel bad about not eating meat. Whats up everyone? Heard this song that I really dig but dunno the song title or the artist, the lyrics that I do know go like..

Hi just wondering if anyone would know who might have done a remix of "stomp" in around 1996/1997?
I had a copy of tape but lost it. I recorded it on one of those party night type shows that radio stations would do late Friday and Saturday nights...the sort where one song blended in with the next.
I know it's a weird question but hope someone can help.

A Song By Song Look at High Fidelity

Well, I'm rereading High Fidelity and the sheer amount of music that I'm completely unfamiliar with is making me feel like a retard, so I'm gonna make this journal to listen to every song and album mentioned in the book. This way if anyone talking about the book mentions something from it I can hold my nose in the air, wave my hand in dismissal, and declare, "Meh." This will make me look like a true audiophile even though my knowledge will likely begin and end with the song/band/album in question. Sweet.

I'm gonna do this according to what song, group of songs, album(s), happen to be relevant to a particular part of the book and give a little overview of how the music relates to the story. Needless to say, this will contain spoilers for the book, so if you haven't read it then fuck off out of it and go read it. I'd go into further detail about the format of this journal, but as always I am lazy and contemptuous of you all.

Please identify this song for me.

OK, so this is what I have:

Sounds a bit like Muse's "Knights of Cydonia" or the Tornados' "Telstar type of guitar sound.

I might have heard it on "Made in Chelsea" but not sure and on other current TV clips as background theme.

It's not the Last Shadow Puppets.

I'm pretty sure it's a fairly recent song.

Not a lot I know but I trust you guys to solve the mystery.

Driving home from work today I put Meatloaf; Bat Out of Hell in my cd player. I don't know what it is about that album, but every single song I just have to sing along with, belting out the lyrics with every ounce of energy that they deserve. It's just one of those albums that touches me to the very core of my being.
I think we all have at least one of those albums.
