80.Vozvrashcheniye ( The Return )

this is the best movie i've seen in the last 5 years, about 2 young boys in Sibiria and their road trip with their father that has suddenly returned after 12 years. the photography is so clear, cold and beautiful and the music gives you this incredible and chilling feeling of the Russian tundra. for all of you living in picture perfect families this gives you an idea of what it's like to live with an abusive, authoritative father

Easily the best music bio I've read.
Keith Moon, the most exciting drummer that ever lived, not to mention the most interesting.
His life and his crazy antics...brilliant.

You know for someone with a tag line like Spikes, its amazing she chocked doen (no pun intended) the Republic, though why she thinks socrates can make anyone look like an idiot in a book about the bperfect city, I don't really understand. I'll second this addition though.

i refuse to read a book in which Jesus Christ marries Mary Magdalen and they have children, the man is going to hell just for that....

it is an interesting read though, even though he claims the Priory of Scion is a real group, it has been proven since that the journals where actually written by a french cab driver attempting to prove that he was indeed a descendant of Charlemagne
