Denim and leather ruined me, sorry Luke
9. Denim And Leather [Byford/Quinn/Oliver/Dawson/Gill] Where were you in '79 when the dam began to burst Did you check us out down at the local show Were you wearing denim, wearing leather Did you run down to the front Did you queue for your ticket through the ice and snow Denim and Leather Brought us all together It was you that set the spirit free Denim and Leather Brought us all together It was you that set the spirit free Did you read the music paper from the back and to the front Did you find out where to see your favorite band Did you listen to the radio every Friday night Did hang around your local record store Denim and Leather Brought us all together It was you that set the spirit free Denim and Leather Brought us all together It was you that set the spirit free Do you dream of playing guitar or smashing up the drums Maybe you can learn to play the bass You can always be a singer like me and front the band When on the stage we wait at your command Denim and Leather Brought us all together It was you that set the spirit free Denim and Leather Brought us all together It was you that set the spirit free It was you - that set the spirit free It was you - that put us here today It was you - that filled the concert halls It was you - that set the spirit free Denim and Leather Brought us all together It was you that set the spirit free Denim and Leather Brought us all together It was you that set the spirit free [Repeat to end]

8/10. It a really good picture, but the small avatar size doesn't quite do it justice.
Murder Junkie's avatar (11/10 for that I think!) is Vivian from the Young Ones, which was an 80's UK comedy series about a group of guys who share a flat. One is a complete neurotic, one is a stoner/hippie, one is (very short, I was never sure what Hedgehog was there for) and the other one - Vivian - is a psychotic punk. |

I've had a look at the same lyrics page as you got the lyrics for 'Denim & Leather' from, and I haven't heard the song. The only song I've heard from Saxon is 'Ride Like The Wind', and that wasn't even their's. It was a remake of an earlier version of the same song by someone else from the 70's. It just happens to be one of my favourite rock songs. So it seems you know more about Saxon than I do!! ![]() |
