yeah man. Used Blendr quite a lot a few months back, there's bound to be a ton of fake profiles, but if you're smart enough to decipher the real from the phoney and get talking to someone, you can meet up.
Most people are there for the exact reason that you are, so it's all good. I'd carry protection though, girls that use those sites aren't always the cleanest.

Not that I wouldn't use a dating site, just have never really been arsed to.

my friends bro met his girlfriend on eharmony i think. sites like pof always seemed trashier which is why i signed up. craigslist bein the slimiest of all. but i think next wknd i might answer a random add and see where the adventure takes me. most likely will at the least be a fun story

I wouldn't even bother with craigslist. Most of the time those ads are either pic farmers or some type of scam where they want you to sign up for some other site. I've yet to see a real person from craigslist. They might exist but just not in my area. It's all bullshit most of the time so I gave up on craigslist a long time ago.

There are specific sites that cater to that like cougar dating sites.
