Default Things that make you feel old

Just spoken to one of my sister's carers who didn't know what "Gone with the wind was" and had never heard of "Casablanca"! Oh man I feel old! What sort of things make you feel old when you hear them, assuming you're not young, and if you are, **** ya!

Seeing Twitter-based things get turned into movies/tv shows, like Shit My Dad Says and That Awkward Moment.

That kind of thing really seems to turn me into this

Friends dying.

Waking up, and not being able to stand up straight, or even walk without snap crackle popping.

Having to use "Readers". I've always had perfect vision. Not anymore.

Favorite songs that I heard when they first came out are now on the "Classic Rock" stations.

There's more, but my memory is fading.

Being able to remember when Michael Owen came on the scene and he's now retired.

This happens to me as well, my references are so outdated lol

In this forum i don't feel that old but in another forum i use i once posted a short circuit reference and nobody got it.

i was like, "Johnny 5? Johnny 5 alive? anyone?"

But nope, they didn't get it.

Oh crap I remember that too! "This promising sixteen-year old..." AND Beckham! And seeing Rooney's debut for Everton...

And do you remember when they used to call Ryan Giggs the youngster?

OW! My back just popped! Where's my walking frame? Someone get me an osteopath!

Seeing a paper marking the 20 year anniversary of the (mysterious) death of Kurt Cobain - that made me feel old.
