You contradict yourself too much for me to consider your opinion here. 3 songs does not make an album "decent", i happen to think 90% of Grace is above decent - and that voice, it is impossible to overrate that voice.

More than 4 octaves. Great versatile singer.

i think i read it somewhere that it was 7 octaves...the album is quite eclectic, almost prog rock at certain points...some reviewer on amazon said it was too depressing to listen...i can't say i see it as depressing....at all actually....just beautiful..

Mariah Carey has 5. The average singer has 1- 2.5 octaves.

EDIT: His father Tim had 7. Googled it and opinions vary.

Still... an incredible singer. Marijan didn't I send you some of his stuff once?

Jeff Buckley is cool! Though some people do go on about him.(you get that when you're dead) Grace was amazing. half of sketches was great too.
He just doesn't have enough albums to be a "music legend" and I don't suppose he ever will.

I'm posting on here to basically complain about Mr Sensitive. I would like to know how many people agree with me on the matter that he is becoming the figurehead for all things wrong with Musicbanter. He manages to change every thread he posts on into an argument, he diverts all attention towards himself ALL THE TIME and his posts are unintelligent and downright pointless. Like I've said before, the only good thing about him is that he boosts the number of members on this forum.

He's a guy who I can "take", but I don't think he would have this mythical status if he didn't die so young

I agree. I've listened to "Grace" quite a few times, and it is good, but not nearly as good as everyone makes it out to me.
