but you're applying terrible logic to the quoted statement. It's called a fallacy. Saying that "this is ok/allowed/accepted so that should also be ok/allowed/accepted" is not the way to argue something. Trust me, I got a lecture in that when I turned in my rough draft for my research paper.
Well, howcome it is ok for a director to make a movie about people being killed, and wifes beaten, but if a song is written about it, everyone takes it seriously?

That is a good arguement. You were comparing two different things earlier. now it's the same thing in two different mediums. This is a valid arguement

I think(not too sure) that it's because when watching a film you know it's not real even if based on actual facts it's at best exposure to certain situations and problems people encounter. Whereas Em likes to say his music is him venting, I.E what he's thinking(not to say he would ever act on his thoughts).
But basically he asks you to take him seriously when he speaks on certain subjects and issues like Mosh etc. But then he'll do a song like 'Lose it' or 'Without Me.'
Which can confuse people because he blurs the line between entertainment and reality, a lot of what he raps about we see him go through on a daily basis so you can never be too sure, much like Tupac and 50 Cent(before he exposed himself).

Just my humble opinion.
