The White Stripes-Get behind me Satan. Although I don't think it's their best (*cough*Elephant*cough*) it's still damn good. Lots of people say they were really disappointed by this album. I thought it was great.

I don't know who you're talking to, but everyone that I know that has GBMS loves it.

I can't think of any underrated albums. I can think of tons of overrated ones but no underrated.

Well the people that I have spoken to loved he bass heavy Elephant, yet didn't admire the bass free Get Behind Me Satan. I think it's because The White Stripes didn't use the 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' approach and threw the old book out the window and started from scratch. I think it was a real daring thing to do and it paid off, but nearly everyone I know thinks differently.

Get Behind Me Satan was the first White Stripes album I heard all the way through and I loved it.

I've heard other people describe GBMS as dissapointing, but maybe they have their opinions coloured by Elephant perhaps.

Get Behind Me Satan stands on it's own as a great album, in my opinion.
Every bit as good as Elephant, different yes, but just as good.

I wouldn't say it was just as good-I did like Elephant a lot. It was hard for the Stripes to match Elephant really, and to change the formula altogether was inspiring. I guess in a way I was kind of disappointed. Not hugely disappointed, just a tiny tiny bit disappointed. Simply because Elephant was such a good album, and I wanted GBMS to match that. Something that it got pretty close to doing, but just missed out on.

I wouldn't say they were trying to match Elephant but to go in a slightly different direction.

I particularly like the bluesy/rock stuff Get Behind Me Satan contains.
I'd say it's uncompromising of the White Stripes to do.

Definately just as good.

Green Day- Insomniac.
Though everybody loves the singles Brainstew/Jaded but I felt that the rest of the album was great though I don't know anyone who likes it.

The Hippos- Heads are gonna Roll
Possible the greatest Ska album I have heard though know one really knows them or this album.
