they used to be pop punk-ish. now theyre just mainstream pop rock. thats the way i'd classify them.

the albums "dookie" and "nimrod" have a little more of a punk inspired feel to them.

yeah, i'd class them as pop, although they're not as "poppy" as some pop music, so maybe pop-rock.
