im kinda new at the whole tab thing, lol, and i cant figure out


what does hammer mean??

A hammer on is when you have one finger on a fret and then with another finger you hit down on the second fret shown without picking the string....
Ex. 5^7 means you hammer on the 7th fret with your other finger staying on the fifth....hope that helps..kinda hard to explain
