I think it's kinda whack. People only can have opinions of music, it doesn't mean they are the right opinions. It's about people that relate to your musical interest.

Imma narrow it down to a top five, there's more but I'm about to go get something to eat. So, in no order: DontRunMeOver, TheBig3RanOverMyRainDog, MURDER JUNKIE, right-track, and Merkaba. they've always got something good to say.

i think the point of this thread is to name the people who's recommendations you listen to, correct me if i'm wrong but you haven't actually discovered any new bands yet have you?

.angie.; got me into like, a whole bunch of stuff that were pretty much like the building blocks for what I listen to now.
A_Perfect_Sonnet; got me into pretty much everything I listen to now & taught me a hella load of stuff.
riseagainstrocks; I started listening to bands he talked about (BTBAM, Converge, Botch etc..) & liked those ALOT.

Thats kind of it for that..um big3killedmyraindog also gave me a hella load of folk and such to check out which im grateful for. Adidasss has reccomendedededed me a few indie bands I likeee, umum.
