Only they have more direct influence than the artists that have influenced them.

And though they may have influenced many influencial artists like Elvis Costello, The Ramones, The Sex Pistols, David Bowie, REM, U2, Husker Du, Pearl Jam, etc...None of those names have as much influence as those bands.
