"STARS BOOED OFF BY FANS
Finnish band The Rasmus and rap megastar 50 Cent were were both forced to leave the Reading Festival stage early after being booed and pelted with missiles by music fans. The Rasmus had scarcely begun their set when the crowd started throwing missiles at them. And 50 Cent was booed by the crowd before he even stepped onstage. Despite winning a clutch of Finnish Grammy awards, The Rasmus came unstuck in front of the mud-caked British audience and left after little more than one song. One festival-goer said: "It was just kids chucking bottles and a bit of mud at them, it does sometimes happen. "But obviously the crowd here today weren't really their crowd." Boston group Dropkick Murphys then braved the main stage shortly afterwards to an ecstatic reception. Mercury Music Prize nominee The Streets appeared on stage later. The 25-year-old Birmingham rapper topped the charts this summer with his string-driven single "Dry Your Eyes". 50 Cent: not welcomed However, festival fury claimed its second victim when 50 Cent gave in to a relentless barrage of missiles and booing from the crowd. Even before the lights went up for the main stage appearance fans started chanting and hurling abuse. " (From http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0...208620,00.html )

Gotta love the use of the word fans in that. And to all the people who did the booing of this band...GOOD ONE! Good to know the bands who decide to ride on the coat tails of better bands who become popular are shown for the unimaginative frauds they are. and that hair!!! wtf? >yea and disturbed1 just for ur info the rasmus are the most impressive band in the world. They are one of the top bands in Finland as well as in England and they do not ride the tales of other bands. There is no need to they are already huge producers with their 6 albulm accomplishment. So you are wrong in saying that. The Rasmus and Muse will always remain the top bands. They are so multi-talented that it is amazing. Oh and also Muse won a european music award just a few weeks ago and not only that but, they were involved with "THE CURE FEST" - that is an awesome privledge. The Rasmus are also involved with HIM and Marilyn Manson(Bri Warner) looks up to the main guy from the Rasmus ( Lauri Ylonen) Now isn't that just amazing? Yup it totally is! ![]() |
