HELP: What style are we? (alternative, hardcore, punk, rock)

I really wanna know what we sound like... Cause "alternative rock" is a pretty wide range. So please tell me what u think (especially in style). I would say Hard Rock. I've been told we are emo (i dont agree), or punk i kinda see the power chords + thats my early influence Ramones, early green day, nirvana(not TOO punk). But i dont know, u tell me.

What makes you think that? is it the drums? the guitars? vocals?

Haters will be ignored. Lets be constructive not destructive. Telling me that we suck will not help/it wont make a difference at the end...so why bother? Hope u understand.

the type i'd say is rock, and on the first song there fire, i'd say it might sound a little alt rock..

the music is fine but the recordings themselves are very poor you can hear the instruments much more then the vocals making it hard to pick everything out right.. are you guys recording it live? or how are doing it becasue the sound seems not evened out.

oh and i hear nothing even close to punk in the songs you have posted there.. but its rock for sure.

Myspace doesnt have hard rock or modern rock as a genre. And plain Alternative Rock doesnt describe it either. Any ideas?

Its from a cam recorder haha. i know its so ghetto but its better than nothing. Im about to buy a PreSonus Firewire 10 I/O. Saving my summer bucks u know.

Can i conclude it's hard rock? or anybody has anything else to say? (in a nice healty manner)

Hard Rock is pretty much synonomous with Rock.
Hardcore is completely different, it doesn't mean hard rock. All your music is is rock, plain and simple rock music.
