False Advertising Is Back (indie, jazz, title, volume, cover)

Word, so we kind of split formed something else more folky then decided to come back. Its my friend Ian and I. Sadly, none of the tracks on our purevolume have him on it, its just me on vocals currently and seeing as he doesn't have vocals similar enough to mine to pull off the harmonies at the moment thats probaly gone. The recordings up are like old school me and jon but its basically the same thing as what were doing now. We decided to stick doing the indie-emo/acoustic thing even though Jon isn't with us anymore. We have a new track up, "Death Of December" and i'd like ya'lls opinions on it. =)

I liked death of December a lot...the Vocal harmonies seemed to be a tad off at some points..but i liked it a lot..

Thank ya, another new song it has a slightly different edge to it. Its the first song without jon so, if it sucks sorries =(. I'll admit on the night skies line, its...me dubbing, but the screaming is ian. So the new song "Brown Eyes, Butcher Knives, Bye Byes and Suicides" is the new false advertising I suppose, i'd like opinions on it.

as for "its good but not original" this might be true.

the guitar playing is alright
but i can't help but noticing in almost every single song i've heard that it seems like your trying really hard.. like your pushing your voice too much.
when you and the other member(s) sing together like in the Brand New covers (which you know i love) you two don't sing well together, he has a nice clam voice, while it seems your pushing yours, when you two sing together it just seems awkward.

thats it i think.. i hope its nothing harsh but just in case i had to bring it up like so..

well you bothered to listen to my band so i thought i'd return the favour, wasn't fusseed on simple thoughts, it was alright and all but i just wasnt fussed however i could listen to 'and our year ends' all day, and its 4 in the morning here, so that's gonna be one long day.
