Time Signatures (jazz, fan, pink floyd, solo, songs)

Well, there may be a passage that is in 7/8, i've read several tabs on it, it was 7/4 as i recall, but maybe i am wrong.

But the song has such a complex rhythmic pattern, that is quite easly to get the time signatures confused.

There is no way someone should mix it up with 7/8. It doesn't even make sense, "Money" isn't the least bit complex...It's 7/4 (most), end of story, you don't know what 7/8 is if you think otherwise. Maybe that's a bit harsh 'cause I guess it's how you count it, but show me how to count "Money" as 7/8 and I'll laugh at you.

Look at my computer help thread's first page. I really don't know how to count time sigs. I do go to stay in 4/4 but if someone wouldn't mind please explain to me (in extremely simple terms) how to tell and read a time signature.

in theory as long as the bottom number is a power of 2 it's possible. in theory of course most of it isnt even usefull
