I love Brian May, Pete Townshend and Jimmy page. It's too hard to decide who I like best!

EDIT: Page gets the award for hottest man ever, though.

Even though I ****ing despise the man, Kirk Hammett has alot of talent. And James Hetfield to stay with Metallica.
Dimebag (Pantera/ Damageplan) obviously which damn near everyone has pointed out.
Dave Mustaine (Megadeth and early days Metallica)
Some might argue him as metal, but Randy Rhodes

The BEST metal guitarist I owuld ahve to say Kirk Hammet or Dave Mustaine, but for a fairly good bass player I'd have to say Shavo Odajian(S.O.A.D) because he's very original and plays enjoyable music

Mustaine is a **** of alot better at guitar than singing. He can tear **** up, but his voice gives me a headache after a while.

True that! but I really don't mind his singing, it just make the genre "Grunge" pop up in my head because of his vocals being so rough

I think his voice is too high to sound grungy. dave's vocals are an aquired taste, but I love them. he's a brilliant guitarist.

Dimebag was very good, and Petrucci is also a very talented metal guitarist.
