The first two verses sound similar. That's about it. It's a common chord progression anyway. Could be argued that Mary Jane's Last Dance was just a rip-off of Sweet Home Alabama.

It always reminded me more of Frusciante's own "Fallout" than Mary Jane's Last Dance, actually.

although it is probably their weakest album yet, if you look around there are about 8 or 9 songs that really stand out well.
overall ill give the album a 3.5 out of 5
