bands re-releasing singles that didnt make the grade the first time. seems to be a new trend. Means i have to go throught the indignity of hearing a song i liked the first time get played to death.

I dont think a band is really worth liking if theyre a singles band.

That's something that pisses me off when bands write good singles and shit albums.

a band isnt worth liking if they only release good singles? good music is good music - whether it be one song or a collection of songs. and if a band consistently produce good singles, good on them. ive always preferred albums to singles but their are certain bands i just cant be bothered to explore beyond a greatest hits.

Also a lot of The Jam's singles were never released on their albums.
Greatest Hits albums have their uses, but one of the worst offenders for regurgitating tracks were The Who.

When an album is released on cd and the cover art work is different to the original vinyl cover. A bastard when I'm replacing old vinyl, trivial but annoying.

If they're consistently putting out good singles and shit albums then theyre half assing it. If they have the ability to make songs why not sit down and write good songs instead of putting out 3 good singles and 9 wtf is this filler songs.
