Good garage rock. Seems as if I can relate this album to a handful of similar artists. Definitely not something I haven't heard before.
Edit: .... Oh wow, just gazed at his bio on wikipedia.... I did not know he passed away earlier this year.

Good all around album. Pike's gnarled vocals, and his phenomenal guitar work are greatly enhanced by the drummer and the bassist throughout the album.
High on fire proves once again that combining various stratospheres of the metal world into one album, and even one song, proves that they can appeal to multiple genres. 4/5 in my opinion.
Some very intriguing cover artwork all 'round there... maybe not beautiful, but quite interesting visually...

I'll take ****in A or More Parts per Million over Now We Can See. The latter demonstrated a major shift in their sound and it was way too slow and mellow for my tastes...

Fuckin A sounded more to my taste as well. Quick fast paced rock. No bollocks. Listening to it for the second time today.

Also how come you like Farm if you're not keen on overly long albums?

Great band! Isn't that album just a "best of" though?
