Animals is among my top 5 favorite albums of all time. I'm glad you've decided to revisit it.
It's the first Pink Floyd album I reach for when I feel like listening to them these days. It always leaves me wanting more, which is a great accomplishment for a prog album if you ask me.

Gang of Four - Entertainment! (1979)

Holy crap this is good... if Franz Ferdinand could have ripped this off properly I would have thought more favorably of them.

I approve.
I LOOOOOOOVE Clark. I think you will really enjoy the rest of his stuff too. DO NOT ignore his EPs, they are gold.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Amusement Parks On Fire - Road Eyes
Their third album certainly isn't a radical departure but they seem to have evolved a bit though, the production is noticeably better, the guitars have more crunch and the vocals clearer in the mix. By the sounds of it they could be aiming for the mainstream with this album. Song-wise it's much more of the same, nothing has really jumped out at me so far but it could take a few more listens.

Bat For Lashes - Two Suns

I only had one track before, 'Sleep Alone', which i listed to quite a fair bit so i figured out i might as well get the whole friggin album
