Ah, the album that was my introduction to Killing Joke. I hardly ever listen to it anymore (especially since I only own it on cassette) but it certainly has some good stuff on it.

Pandemonium was my first, looking forward to hearing this one. Damn I just realized I'm screwing up the order, skipping the few between Night Time and this.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

The very last album I bought was "HIDE" by Foetus via mail, last week, although in the last few weeks I have bough a variety. Grace Jones/Hole/Fleetwood Mac/The Streets. HMV have been doing some good instore deals for £2/£3.

Factrix - Scheintot (1981)

Another one of those early industrial/post-punk bands, this time from San Francisco and I'm liking it so far. It seems to be a bit obscure nowadays (maybe even then). I read they also have one album with Monte Cazazza.

Here's what Julian Cope says about the band and this album. Interesting read for sure.

Got these two on cd at a record fair today:

Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago
I've been meaning to get this album for some time now and i don't know why i've always been putting it off. This is a really beautiful and heartfelt album with some really great lyrics and vocal harmonies. I don't quite see what all the hype is around this album but maybe a few more listens will set that straight. A really good album none the less.

Mazzy Star - Among My Swan
Another album i've been meaning to get around to. I've had the songs 'Roseblood' and 'Flowers In December' knocking around on my laptop for a while but not the whole album so when i saw this i had to get it. This album is really amazing, it seems like a slightly mellower affair than For Tonight That I Might See and She Hangs Brightly, and Hope Sandoval's vocals sound as hauntingly gorgeous and sexy as usual. This could very well become my favourite Mazzy Star album. Gorgeous stuff.

EARTH - The Bees Made Honey In The Lion's Skull

I liked Earth 2, and I heard that this was a good album, so I guess I'll get it.
