James Chance and the Contortions - Buy

Upon reading a few reviews, I believe this may sit very well with me. I've only heard good things about the saxophone performance on this one.

I bought it on CD, but I actually want it on vinyl. Might buy the LP later.

Anacrusis - Screams and Whispers (1993)

Probably one of the strangest thrash metal albums I've ever heard, almost to the point where I'm hesitant to even call it thrash. The band experiments with snyths, acoustic passages, and black metal-esque style vocals. Definitely not perfect, but as far as intuitive thrash goes, this album is way up there, plus the band is cool enough to offer it for free on it's website, so get on this jackhammer if you haven't already.

Elvis Costello - National Ransom

^ Pre-ordered via HMV, and I'm gonna go pick it up on Monday. Really can't wait to give this a listen.

#1 was Stankonia, right? I'm not a big Hip Hopper, but you should check out Beastie Boys' "Paul's Boutique"
