Kvelertak - Kvelertak (2010)

Kind of a blend of hardcore punk, progressive metal, and black metal with a hint of older rock added for good measure. Quite the odd concoction but it'll make a great driving album if nothing else.

I really like his artwork. It's such a distinct style even despite the heavy Alphonse Mucha influence. Great stuff.

I got that one not long ago myself. I have to admit I haven't really been able to get into it though.

It's a classic hip hop album, but I don't think that all the songs are equally great. The first half of the album definitely outweighs the last.

Mos Def's Black on Both Sides definitely outshines Black Star. Talib Kweli's solo album's have been pretty hit or miss.

Yes, it be the Psychically Ill. Sonic Boom records still has them in stock, but I don't know for how long because the printing count isn't very large. They Have another EP out called "Astral Occurrence" that you might want to pick up as well. I got my digital copies on soulseek if you can't find them on blog searches.

Sixtoo - Chewing on Glass and Other Miracles
I've been meaning to check him out for a minute. He reminds a bit of Blockhead, but I haven't delved too deeply into the album yet.
