Alva Noto—Xerrox Vol. 1

Alva Noto—Xerrox Vol. 2

Really looking forward to these. The description I've read is that the tracks are built from the glitches and degeneration that developed in repeated reproductions of various electronic sounds.

Also...

Last Exit—s/t
Noisy experimental jazz in the John Zorn vein. Recommended to me by Skaligojurah.

Sun Ra—Space Probe
Experimental electronic soundscape type stuff also recommended to me by Skaligojurah. It's totally different from other Sun Ra stuff I've heard by him but I dig it so far. Oh, and how great is this fucking album cover!

I hope so. It's the same guy I proposed in the experimental music club thread.

Yeah, he designs those himself. I read that there are ultimately going to be six albums in this series with the covers spelling out X-E-R-R-O-X. You can see the X and the E in the two I posted.

Oh and Geogaddi is fantastic.
Yeah I know what you mean. Very, err, glitchey. Still interesting enough though, with some stand out tracks. I intend to get Blevin's album very soon.

I'm about to put on Geogaddi to put me to sleep (in a good way)

It's very nice, except that the typography sucks!

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Heh. Me, you, and CanwllCorfe need to form some kind of design geek club to discuss these things. Personally, I think the typography is serviceable. It's nothing great to be sure, and some of the placement is a bit awkward, but I don't feel that it detracts from the overall composition.
