Asobi Seksu - Fluorescence

Duga posted a song in the Albums You're Digging Thread, and I basically fell in love with it, so I decided to download the album. I hope the rest is as good!

The Decemberists - Castaways and Cutouts

Been wanting to get into this band for a while and decided to start with this one.

I'm on a weird Jazz and Drone tangent, two seemingly incompatible genres

got the rest of Odd Future's solo stuff, and what i've heard already is surprisingly diverse considering the main groups image.

Just listened to a couple of tracks last night before i went to bed because i was wrecked tired, but i love what i heard. It has a really nice slow mournful feel to it. Gonna listen to the whole thing when i get home from college.
I keep downloading albums, and then see that you have just listened to them. You've done that with Codeine and Red House Painters lately. If you're on a bit of a slow/sadcore trip lately, do you have any specific albums to recommend?

Yes, it is. A little weird to listen to Sunn O))) with drums, but it's a beautiful album.

CODEINE - THE WHITE BIRCH (1994)
First impressions were good. Nice, dreamy, depressing stuff.

THE ANGELIC PROCESS - COMA WAERING (2003)
haven't listened to this yet but from the little I read about it, it seems it could be right up my street. Any mention of drone fused with shoegaze is bound to get my attention.

DEAF CENTER - PALE RAVINE (2005)
Some more ambient goodness.

LOW & DIRTY THREE - IN THE FISHTANK E.P (2001)
One quick listen last night and haven't really evaluated it yet. But again, first impressions were good.

Haha i'm one step ahead of you Mojo I've only really just started going on a slowcore trip but i'm listening to WhatFunLifeWas by Bedhead at the moment, which James just recommended to me, and i'm really loving this album. And if you haven't already you should definitely check out Frigid Stars, or Songs For A Blue Guitar by Red House Painters.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
