Also, I would like to know how you go from listening to NWA to Antony and the Johnsons...that's some randomness right there.
I usually try to. If it doesn't have the album cover, then it's usually some corny random pic from Google Images.

Trust me, with a collection like mine, that happens aaaallllll the time! Well, when I shuffle. I'll go from Dave Matthews to Depressive Suicidal Black Metal to Arvo Pärt to some random Progressive House track. But usually I try to go by genre, because chances are I'm not in the mood for The Tallest Man on Earth and Xasthur at the same time haha!

The Brian Jonestown Massacre - Methodrone
Saw Dig! again recently and finally put forth the effort to get this album. A lot of great shoegazing stuff on here along with psychedelic music.

I've been wanting to see that movie for a while. Is it any good?

Yeah its pretty good. Focuses on two band The Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Dandy Warhol's and follows them for a few years.

Balance and Composure - Separation (2011)

Pretty decent little alternative rock with a slight post-hardcore sound.

edit: never mind, it's not that great

I felt like I needed a bit more metal in my collection.

Gooooood choice. This record is awesome. Get their debut, and the remastered "So Far, So Good... So What!" (the original's mixing and quality is awful, and not in a good lo-fi way) Those are both fantastic as well.

"Peace Sells... But Who's Buying" as well, which is still my favorite Megadeth album.
