Same here. I've always found them to have kind of a boring 90s alt metal vibe.

nice album art work though....i give them that....actually the blue album which i did end up buying.....the packaging is amazingly well done

but yeah i really did try to get into them.....but there is just nothing really that special there

The only band they might remind me of from that era is Melvins, and they're so obviously influenced by especially Buzz Osbourne's singing that it's a bit silly. But I've never considered that a bad thing.

Never saw them as particularly Melvins-influenced to be honest.

Incidentally, Jake Leg is the song that kept me wishing that the whole album could keep my attention, but alas I think I was all just Art Nouveau and wishful thinking
