I'm actually just going with the original intent of the thread here. If people are more interested in "post album covers and say nothing about them" thread I suppose we could start one.

Ideally I agree with you, I'm only saying that I find it difficult to speak about music I have not heard, particularly because I download it in such an arbitrary fashion. I could always stop posting here I suppose, but then I wouldn't receive the feedback I enjoy on the list of albums I've got lined up for the month.

Cannot get more visceral at this time... need to listen many times over and over before that happens.

But they sound interesting and reviews on Amazon are +.

I'm kind of fascinated by this notion that "last album you bought or downloaded" somehow automatically means "album you haven't listened to". Don't you usually listen to albums after you download them? There's no rule in this thread that says you have to post the album the moment the download finishes. You can always download it, listen to it, and then comment on it. That certainly seems to be the process the creator of the thread envisioned when he or she created it.

Your point is good, but I mostly have **** all to say about what I download, so the solution is for me to stay out of this thread whether I want to know what anyone else thought or no. I don't mean that to sound bitter, but I am disappointed, because I didn't see anything wrong with posting my list of 20 once a month before now.

I'm just stating my opinion here. Post album covers if you want. All I'm saying is it makes for a better thread, at least to me, when people have something to say about what they post.

Heh. Oh, well. I blame Thrice anyway. He was the first person to not comment on an album he posted.
