I don't know, but I will take a chance on Lulu possibly soon. After all, I have went through a number of albums that have had some major criticisms at the time of release, and a couple of my friends have slammed it. For me, it's time to forget what I would like the album to sound like and just go with it, although I still have some reservations.

Being a big Bon Iver fan I thought I would check this out. After reading a lot of positive reviews I was quite happy I bought this. Totally recommend this album to any indie folk fan.

Bon Iver invited fans to remix his tracks and this is the end result and it is a gem. No Dubstep or generic Dance beats backed to his vocals (generally), instead we have an album as haunting electronically as his voice is. It's all rather floaty and soothing.

It is like Kruder & Dorfmeister remixed his music and that is a definite plus point.

before that I bought the album - waiting for the sun- the doors
I assume I don't have to say a word on this one, great!

I decided to download a few albums before I tackle my huge backlog:

Buena Vista Social Club - S/T
This was in my wishlist on RYM for far too long, so I downloaded it ASAP when I found a working link.

Memory Tapes - Seek Magic
I don't really have much to say about this aside from the fact that I needed some chillwave in my collection.

椎名 林檎 (Shiina Ringo) - Shōso Strip
I don't have much to say about this either. I just felt like I needed some more Japanese artists in my collection besides Boris, Boredoms, Kashiwa Daisuke and Midori. I would have gotten Karuki Zamen Kuri no Hana instead if I could find a working link.

Since I don't want to post too many images, I also got:
Jex Thoth - S/T (bob had posted a picture of her in "The Most Beautiful Female Musician", and I was surprised when I found out that this was a doom metal album with some psychedelic influences)
Lush - Split (this was an old recommendation that I received from RYM's forums several months ago)
Scientist - Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires (this will be the first dub album that I've listened to)
