King Khan and the Shrines - The Supreme Genius of King Khan and the Shrines (2008)

A combination of retro 60's garage rock with a bit of retro 60's & 70's R&B and soul added to the mix, with lots of humorous lyrics throughout.

Haha, yeah I used to love Neurosis. I didn't want to lose hope for the new album but after a few listens it definitely bummed me out.

Miasma - The Black Dahlia Murder

These guys are playing at Soundwave festival. I've never listened to anything by them before so I got recommended this album. I quite enjoy it so I'll definitely pay them a visit. Hoping they're good live!

J.K. & Co. - Suddenly One Summer (1969)

In 1968, a 15 year old songwriter named Jay Kaye left Las Vegas with enough self-written songs for an album and traveled to Vancouver to record that album. When he arrived, he got together with arranger Robert Buckley, also in his teens, and Kaye put together a psychedelic song suite, following a man’s journey from birth to death.
I wouldn't consider this one of the top must-listen psychedelic albums of the era, but it's quite an enjoyable listen and seems all the more impressive considering the young age of the songwriter who penned these tunes.

Got around to downloading Shai Hulud's Reach Beyond the Sun Relatively pleased with it so far, but Metalcore has never been my favorite genre.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I've just downloaded the album Prologue by the Milk Carton Kids, an Indie folk duo from California. I like the calm and modest sound.
The band offers downloading their two albums Prologue and Retrospect for free.
