And the track titles too long, but he still makes for great music on a gloomy day, or a sunny day you want to make gloomy.

Connections Year One (2014)

This disc collects their "Private Airplane" & "Body Language" EPs along with some bonus tracks. The Connections have "connections" to Guided By Voices and Times New Viking.

Default Jack Penate - Everything is New

Just bought Jack Penate's Everything Is New. Amazing album from 2009. Didn't like his 1st album. His second went more worldly. I think it's great!!

No better description than the album artwork.

Just listened to this album, recently reissued, first released in 1987. Excellent garage rock with a punk attitude.

Noise rock/pop generally doesn't do much for me, but people like this album so much that I had to give it a shot.

I liked it more than I thought I would but still not great, tbh.

Steppenwolf - Steppenwolf 7 (1970)

Decided to put this on my turntable and give it a spin. One of my favorite bands from the late 60's to early 70's.

I recently downloaded Shane Filan's "You and Me". You'll like it if you are a westlife fan

Bohren & der Club of Gore - Piano Nights (2014)

If there's ever a renaissance of film noir, these guys should do the soundtrack. Very solid track record over their life span and this album is no exception. Some great piano jazz on this.
