Jens Lekman's Oh You're So Silent Jens and Aztec Camera's High Land Hard Rain - they were a Hanukkah present, and as stupid as the whole concept of Hanukkah presents is, they're good albums so I'm happy.

Any album by Jens Lekman is a perfect gift for the holiday season. His music just has that quintessential wintery feel to it.

The Flesh Prevails by Fallujah

saw someone mention this here recently, but cant for the life of me remember who it was. sidewinder maybe?? anyway I didn't really have any strong feelings for their first album so i was only cautiously interested in this but I was in a death metal mood so thought id take a shot at it. and well it is much better than the debut. kinda has that "death by drowning" feel to it (as best I can describe the sort of dreamy nature of it). its been something ive listened to quite a bit the last few days, which has been a nice surprise that I keep coming back to it

Words cannot describe my love for this album. I know it's a very unpopular opinion, but this Andrew Jackson Jihad album is my hands down favorite. I just found the download code inside my vinyl issue so I went and got the sucker. I think that every track is just absolutely killer on it, ooo I'm listening to it the second time tonight.

today I bought two of my favorite albums (Carpenters' "Close to You" and ABBA's "Voulez Vous") as 8-track cartridges.

this is terribly impractical but I couldn't think of a better way to start my collection.

TOKiMONSTA - Desiderium (2014)

Her latest. Very nice. Huge fan.

Ben Howard - Every Kingdom (2011)

Folk always hits home, but this is something special. Wow.

Watch The Throne - S/T

The track with Beyoncé makes me want to puke, but the rest is pure masturbatory bliss. I truly believe Hova and Mr. West jerked off every last drop of ego in this record.
