No, it has a 79 on Metacritic, so it looks like you're right. I just saw Pitchfork's (I know) mediocre review.

How does it compare to 12 Reasons to Die?

I used to check Pitchfork everyday, but it got too much. Still read some reviews from time to time.

Not heard that one. It's about level with 36 Seasons.

Charlemagne Palestine - Strumming Music

Some wonderful and droney minimalist music that's somewhat similar to Terry Riley while sounding like a Philip Glass that's actually interesting.

Well I finally got around to listening to the new Mount Eerie album Sauna, and I really like it a lot so far. Very atmospheric and textured a lot of the songs are very slow moving some taking influence from drone and atmospheric black metal. Certainly better than I imagined it being, I don't know if it's equal to Lost Wisdom or The Glow Pt.2, but certainly a very nice album, and one I'll be looking forward to getting a copy of.

Exactly my thoughts as well. I find them incredibly underrated. Love them to death though.

Yes. When I was a child I only really listened to Hip Hop. Secondary school until I was about 22/23 I only listened to Grime. A few exceptions but that's basically it.

It was around the time I joined this forum that I wanted to look for more stuff. You lot are more knowledgeable than I am. There are plenty of classic bands I've not even heard a single track from.

I only found out they did the theme tune to Hitch-hikers Guide To The Galaxy last month. And I've known of their existence since I was about 13 years old. And I've seen Hitch-hikers loads of times since it first aired on TV when I was a kid and never noticed too.

Still don't like them though, apart from that one song.

I'm really into the new Wax Stag album right now. Really good chill/downtempo house-y electronica.
