Well, yes... But to me, if I'm going to start out listening to a band and potentially become a fan and want to go to a concert, then their personalities matter.
If I had already been listening to them for awhile and then found out they were douchebags, it wouldn't matter at much bc I already had some favorite songs.
But the thing is, before I ever heard them, I found out about their antics. So it makes me NOT want to be a fan.

I realise this all sounds pretty stupid to you guys, but let's take The Funeral Portrait for example. I first heard them as they were openers in a couple concerts I went to. I didn't know their songs, so I didn't know if I liked them by hearing them in a live setting first. But I later went on the internet at home and found a post from the lead singer, to a girl who showed up at his meet and greet with scars running down her arms. He had a heartfelt talk with her, and made an offer that if she ever came to a show he was in and she didn't have any new scars, she basically got front row for free.
I think that's beautiful. He didn't know her from Eve, and why would he care about her life? But maybe he gave her another reason to hold on.

One more example:
Megosh, a band local to me, has offered me free tickets on occasion after hearing about my financial struggles. *shrugs* these people are just good guys. And I can get behind that. The fact that their music rocks is just a plus.
Suicide Silence are probably the nicest group of guys I've met. After their concert they actually stayed out and signed autographs. While most headlining bands never do that out here unless you pay for the meet and greet, they actually did it for free. During the show they actually played music people requested. Not to mention they encouraged the audience to come onto the stage and dive off it. I can't say enough good stuff about them.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Unfortunately they're still Suicide Silence.

Very excited. Just ordered Kid Baltan Tom Dissevelt's Popular Electronics: The Singles Collection - a handsome velvet bound limited edition numbered box set containing exact reproductions of the 7" singles and sleeves of musique concrete releases from the mid-1950s.

The set was issued by Basta in the Netherlands - a label famous for reissuing obscure and classic recordings like The Langley Schools Music Project.

aaaghhh yall have given me so many songs to listen to lmao
i will get to them tomorrow

as for the douchebaggery, I'm trying to find the direct source quote as my memory is foggy, but I guess they complained about their set time at a vans warped tour and played longer, which made the next band be skipped or something? and i think they were also being loud and drunk and disruptive to other bands, or stole someone's beer. i can't remember.
but out of loyalty for the person giving the quote, i don't listen to them. i know there's worse things people could do, but there it is.

I know, but I don't know if there is a grammatical rule for "bands" with only one member. So I don't worry so much about it when it gets awkward.

I think if it's one member it's still a solo act.

Britney Spears - Glory (2016)

She's gone contemporary R&B. First song meh, second is good I suppose.
