Does Zao have Christian lyrics? I thought they were a band made up of Christians who didn't do much on the Jesus speak.

Early on they were all about the Jesus. A bit into their career they stopped being as Jesus-centric, but they never abandoned the Jesus ****.

the only metalcore band with lyrics that i look into are converge because i'm a good little fan boy. but when you lay them out like that, yeah, definitely jesus freaks.

And if you ignore the ****ty melodic choruses As I Lay Dying are actually pretty rad. And half their songs don't have any cheesy emo scenester singing, so half their songs are very rad, even if they all kinda sorta sound the same.
