Default my last full album

It seems these days that i am not impressed with anyone's whole album. For the most part i just like songs in particular as opposed to whole albums. However the last album i bought was fall out boy " under the cork tree". The last full album i downloaded was the killers " day and age"

For Your Pleasure (Roxy Music)

Just finished listening to this one. I bought it since I really enjoyed Roxy Music's self-titled debut. However, this one has some lengthy prog-rock moments that will take a few listens for me. The more immediate, quirky glam/art songs like "Do the Strand","Editions of You" and "Beauty Queen". "In Every Home A Heartache" and "For Your Pleasure" are excellent melodramatic camp.

The Velvet Underground & Nico

Just finished listening to this one earlier this afternoon. It is exactly what I expected, it isn't perfect, but its the beginning of a musical revolution. I already loved the sensual "Venus in Furs" and the immediacy of "I'm Waiting for My Man". "Sunday Morning" and "There She Goes Again" have excellent pop sensibility.

My People Were Fair with Sky in Their Hair...But Now They're Content to Wear Stars on Their Brow. The debut album of Marc Bolan's Tyrannosaurus Rex. I have been anxious to hear this record for some time. I was already familiar with the glam rock period of T.Rex (Electric Warrior, Slider), but this colourful, psychedelic folk-rock I find fascinating. Its different from the glam period of T.Rex, but still absolutely fantasic. Its acoustic, sparse, intimate, and posseses an escapism the listener can get lost in. 12 beautiful songs in just under 34 minutes

Fantastic pick!! Even now I think 'My People Were Fair..." is the absolute best album title of all time.

I got some fun stuff as of late myself-

Magma - Attahk

A very intriguing work from an already exceptional band, combining their bombastic Mekanïk Destruktïw Kommandöh approach with the jazzy almost-funk of Mahavishnu Orchestra. Zeuhl may not be for everyone as a genre, but this is as accessible as it gets.

Ghost - Hypnotic Underworld

Modern-day underground Japanese psychedelia, with hints of noisy space rock around the edges and other elements that seem indefinable, but integrate nicely. Very dark and chill!
