If you're new to The Melvins and want to check out some more, I'd recommend Stoner Witch and Stag. Stoner Witch is pretty much a perfect album in my opinion. PM me if you're interested.

Although normally you'd think that with three basses all playing together alongside saxes and guitars and orchestras and trip-hop like backdrops it'd all get very crowded, it ends up sounding godlike from start to finish.
Sounds amazing, I'm going to go listen to samples on itunes right now.

The Assemble Head In Sunburst Sound - When Sweet Sleep Returned (2009)

Fantastically evocative psychedelic rock that hearkens back to the genre's roots while still retaining a touch of modernity in the production. So far so good!

DJ Okawari - Diorama (2008)

Been on a jazz-hop binge lately, and Diorama is one of the best I've found so far. Great beats and an awe-inspiring sense of atmosphere get this cool points of course, but what's impressed me the most so far is the liquid quality of the compositions themselves; this should be Kirby's bedtime album or something.

Sounds interesting and great artwork. I just checked out some YouTube clips. It's something I might dig but some tracks seemed maybe too chill for me and I'm not sure about the vocals on some tracks, but I may still check it out. Could I suggest something along the lines of jazz-hop? I hadn't really thought of that term and have just been calling this jazzy trip-hop, but jazz-hop seems more appropriate. I've really been digging this album over the past few months. Amazon samples linked in the image.

eR DoN - Subroutines

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
