Metric - Fantasies
I've been meaning to listen to this for a while. I've been a fan of Metric since the first album and this didn't disappoint.

Finally needed to see what the hype was all about. When I get past staring at the album art I'll let y'all know.

Groovey album indeed.

Can't quite place it.

Somewhat brooding, in a very classy, snooty way.

Greasy, fuzzed up jamblin'. Love this ****.

^I downloaded this one not to long ago. Thanks to Jackhammer for sending me the link. It's probably my new favorite album right now. It's like this beautiful blues/rock/folk/country/soul fusion that is completely gripping. An album I think I could listen to on repeat without skipping anything and enjoy all the way through. Lyrically, the album waves between having some deep, thought provoking messages to being more simple and to the point in other places, but always drawing out some real emotion. It's simply stunning, in my humble opinion.

Fell in love first listen and had to listen to it again two more times later on in the night. Can't believe I never listened to it before.
