I know nothing about this. I downloaded it for participation in a listening club.
Really? You never saw the film either? Essential viewing and Philip Glass is a great composer.

just ordered "LUNAR DUNES" and "LOU REED'S METAL MACHINE TRIO live" ... before that I think it was Jesse Sykes "Like, Love, Lust and the Open Halls Of The Soul"

oh right.. i dont get the distinction, which record(s) featured dual leads before this? or do you mean Argus only marks the debut of two electric guitars soloing simultaneously (there are other definitions of 'lead' i guess)

Wishbone Ash's self-titled debut from 1970 was the first appearance of dual lead electric guitar in a rock band. Argus is simply considered to be their best album overall.

Nope, never seen the movie. I listened to about half of this before going to bed last night, sounded pleasant enough. I'll play the rest (starting from the beginning again) this week.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Tiamat - Wildhoney

I was pretty underwhelmed by this album to be honest, I read a few reviews that painted it as the best thing since Jesus riding a surfboard while getting head and playing a flaming flying V guitar.
