BUMP...........

Found a great Hanoi Rocks session from 1984. If you ever want to know why I think they were the greatest glam rock band of the 80s just listen to this. Pure Stones / New York Dolls attitude rather than the lame pop metal that the genre was clogged up with.
And no the first song isn`t a Green Day cover. And if 'Underwater World' wasn`t a huge influence on Guns n Roses I don`t know what was.

The Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd sessions (I have two, for Pink Floyd, from 67-68 and 71-72, I don't think either have been officially released) are the best stuff I have heard, by either band.

Sorry, it's actually 70-71. Anyway, set list:

Peel Intro
Embryo
Fat Old Sun
Green Is The Colour
Careful With That Axe, Eugene
If
Atom Heart Mother
John Peel Intro
Fat Old Sun
One Of These Days
The Embryo
Echoes
Blues

Echoes and the second cut of Fat Old Sun (ten minutes longer than the first) are my favorite cuts on the album.

I've got the Led Zeppelin one of these, and also the David Bowie. The Bowie one is supeb, he's right on the cusp of knocking through into the big time and it shows too.
