Default Music to read to...

I read a lot, and I like having some background music on. It's just that it takes me out of my concentration. I need something instrument-only, and not to energetic or fast either. Maybe a bit lounge/rockish? We Vs. Death works for me, but it's really the only thing up till now.

Any suggestions?

Anything electronic but particulary ambient.

My Bloody Valentine - Loveless. But don't have it on too loud.

Nah see, even Muse is too energetic...
But I'll try the other stuff.

Try 90s indie like Dinosaur Jr, Pixies, Pavement, and such.

Oh yeah, Pixies might work! ^^ Though I still prefer non-vocalist bands.

Muse is too hyper? Meh, there songs vary from hyper to non hyper, Citizen Erased is a great non hyper song by them.

True, not all songs are like that, I'll browse through some time.

Something upbeat but chilling

M83 , David Holmes Mr Scruff seem to do the trick with me.
