Vocals aren't usually a problem for me, but if they are, they can make or break a band. I used to be unable to listen to Pearl Jam because I hated Eddie Vedder's voice (gotten used to it, now). The worst is with metal, there are a ton of metal bands who I just don't like because of the vocals.
As for instrumental music...not liking a certain Mars Volta song is one thing, but not liking instrumental music at all? WTF? |

Some of Sigur Ros' songs are pretty long.
But it's so worth it.

WTF... Manzareks keyboard and organ solos are my favorite parts from The Doors songs.
 Then again i am a keyboardist, and Manzarek is probably my favorite after Wakeman and Emerson... I like the whole instrumental section from Light My Fire, though i liked Kriegers guitar solo more than the keyboard part. |
