I also just read up on Nick Drake. There is more proof saying it was not suicide. He OD'd on Anti-Depressents. There was no suicide note.

also, people have speculated that jeff buckley committed suicide but of course noone knows for sure. wearing heavy work boots and swimming in them just doesnt seem like something anyone with sense would do but, then again, suicide doesnt really seem to fit the scenario. still pretty tragic, though

yeah but it was also documented that he was extremely withdrawn and depressed in his final years. towards the end he was gaunt and very sickly looking, a telltale sign of severe depression. it got to the point where he couldnt hold a guitar and sing at the same time, anymore. he had a nervous breakdown, too.

Nick Drake quit music before he died anyway.

His sister is convinced he didn`t kill himself , she said his mental health was improving after he quit music.

He had two stab wounds to the chest during a fight with his girlfriend. She says they were having an arguement she locked herself in the bathroom, she heard him scream and when she opened the door saw him standing with a steak knife in his chest. She then pulled out the knife he fell down and she called 911. He died in the hospital, and after an autopsy it was declared inconclusive. Then theres all the questions around it, and stuff.

He wasn't even that messed up before he was dying everyone was convinced he was getting better, he beat his heroin/crack addiction and started recording all his closest friends and stuff seriously thought he was getting better.

Its such a horrible thing to have happened. I hate to see people cleaning their lives up and then tragedy hits.
