Battle of the bands. (Nirvana, Scissor Sisters, Savage Garden, track, quote)

(At least) 1 Hour Between Each Of Your Posts

Ok, each post will contain a list of 10 bands. In addition to this list each post will keep track of each band's "points". When you post, you get to add 2 points to a band and take away 2 points from a differnet band. When a band reaches 0 points they are taken out of the posting list and added to the "Loser" list. The person that takes away the band's final 2 points is responsible for replacing them with another band so that the list still contains 8 bands. If a band reaches 60 points, they are added to the winners list and are taken out of the posting list. (And again, the poster giving them their last 2 points will replace them with another band on the posting list.) Not sure if the numbers for the points will work at the speed we post here...we shall see. We shall see.

If you still don't get it here's an example with just three bands...

me:
band 1 - 30
band 2 - 30
band 3 - 30

someone else:
band 1 - 28
band 2 - 28
band 3 - 32

somewhere down the line:
band 1 : 46
band 2 - 0
band 3 - 12
band 4 (to replace band 2 is now nominated by last poster) - 30

i'unno, saw this done on another forum and thought screw it, seems an alright idea.

so i'm gonna nominate 10 bands/ artists already and i'll try and make it interesting.

The kooks - 30
Therapy? - 30
Weather report - 30

God lets hope i explained this ok, i also did this so that i'd stop disapearing for long periods of time.

To be honest i'm kinda making up the rules as i go along, plus it doesn't matter it isn't exactly a thriving thread anyway.
