All these goofy kids dancing to "all my friend's are dead" party to a break up song where Lil Uzi Vert talks about killing himself. I'm not gonna lie though, that song is fire and I can obviously relate. Plus his name sounds like Lucifer, of course Lucem Ferre is down with that.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

They just want something on in the background, something to dance to, something to "rock out" to. The music serves them in some way, like TV. It passes the time, it keeps them occupied. But they don't love music for what it is. It's often nothing more than background filler.

And there's nothing wrong with that. It's just the way they are, and no amount of pleading with them will change the way they use music.
To be fare there's also a flip side where people will like something weird or experimental out of the sheer novelty of it being different rather than just enjoying music. Personally I just like what I like regardless of how strange and obscure or poppy and predictable the music is.

Honestly, there are few Blur songs I can stand, but this one is sweet.

Oasis, the Verve, Blur... meh.
I like some of the singles from that era, but I don't think I've ever found a britpop album I've enjoyed from beginning to end.

Unpopular music opinions as in unpopular here or unpopular in more of the general sense?

She wish she could be meh. Boring crap, like so many other of the most popular pop mega stars. I like Lady Gaga, I can tolerate Katy Perry. Swift is just bottom of the barrel.

I at one point was kinda into Katy Perry, then I started listening to more music. Katy's better than Taylor Swift, in my opinion, but still, both are pretty meh at best.
