I'm confused. How can you say all metal sucks and then say ofc I'm into Sabbath? Aren't the two mutually exclusive?

First off, *Megadeth.

Second, they're about 98% stylistically different from Sabbath so them being parody wouldn't make sense

Third, Megadeth was a bad example.

What's your baseline to make that assumption?

POS is a band whose foundation is pretty intense metal (not talking about some guy growling over a 182 BPM backing with a non stop double bass drum assault), but they add a ton of different other **** to the mix.

Megadeth do personify a certain strand of metal, where you have to be able to get over how cartoonish it all is. Megadeth is 90% about the guitar playing. My advice is to not try and approach metal from the same angle that you approach rock music. Metal isn't concerned with credibilty. in fact, it is often prone to indlulging in dorky flighths of fantasy.
