King Crimson are overrated.

Also, throw in some interpretative dancing. For indie cred.

Oh no I totally get that. And discussion is always great. But there's a difference between discussing opinions and claiming other people's opinions as incorrect (or invalid, false etc), when there is no such thing as an incorrect opinion.

I did not have the time to read through every page of this thread, sorry.

Just say Frank Zappa & King Crimson are overrated.
I'll agree to that. I like material by both bands but King Crimson is far from consistent and had too many pointless quiet parts even on their best albums, and I may like some Frank Zappa stuff but a lot of it is weak IMO.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Oh I didn't expect you to, that wasn't intended as a dig at you.
Just a general observation.

If it's any consolation I'd rather have John Bonham playing Moby Dick on my testicles over & over again than ever sit through Sgt Pepper once more.

A very unpopular opinion in the Metal community especially:

I think DragonForce are awesome. I don't care what people say. They're not meant to be taken seriously. They have epic, uber-catchy melodies. Lulz-worthy, but oh so cheesily epic lyrics. They incorporate video game sound effects in their music for crying out loud. What's there not to love?

Remain In Light is bad.

Worshiping canon artists is habit.

Sgt. Pepper isn't bad. Just like most Beatles albums, it's filled with throwaway.
