People who tout the merits of Pavement are generally snarky and obnoxious. I find them to be horrible people because of this.

I don't think Pavement have put out anything good since Slanted & Enchanted.

Did i say Blind Faith and Cream were NOT blues? No The staement means that they were doing exactly the same as Zeppelin a few years earlier than them-so to have an unpopular music opinion (i.e Led Zep are overated) was backed up with an alternative.

I know that they are one of your fave bands by previous posts, but it's just an opinion-the threads point after all.

There has been a lot of post's in here that I dont agree with, but I let it be. If i started a thread LED ZEPPELIN ARE SH[i]T-DISCUSS then I would expect some lively banter, but all ive done is expressed an opinion about a band you particulary like-get over it. I could'nt care less what people think of my music tastes-not interested at all.

Yeah, only their music was nowhere near as heavy, theatric or fun... It's not like anyone is saying Led Zeppelin invented blues rock.

I,m NOT praising Eric clapton I don't really like a lot of his music either-i'm saying that those bands were doing similar music to Led Zep years earlier. I like Led Zep but i think they are over rated. Will you not get over it?

I agree in the sense that I never really got into them.

Everybody I knew was going through their classic rock stage when I was in my punk stage. So I missed all the group worshipings of Zeppelin or something.

First off, get your god damn spelling right! Second, the Rolling Stones are one of the most overrated bands of all time, and I've never heard of a boy band doing psychedelic rock...Honestly, the Beatles have such variety in their instrumentals and their songwriting, it's flat-out laughable to compare them to boy bands like Click 5 or similar boy band crap. The Sex Pistols are ****. The Ramones are only a little ****ty. Case closed.
